Technique

• The work is thrown using a particulary white and translucent porcelain called 'Southern Ice'. Texture is achieved by applying slip. This allows the celadon glazes to break and pool over the resultant textured surface. Blue and green celadons are used.
• Firing is done in a Laser J12 gas kiln, reduction from 950 to 1270 degrees - Orton cone 9 dropping.
